Took some pics of my cameras lol. I just got the Canon a week ago...good for quick snaps, but I like my Lumix the most!!! The Lecia lense is SOOO DA BOMB seriously I love it!

Crazy_J I'd love the Canon 20D except it's price range haha.

Here's my prosumer cam. 12X Optical.

This is my carry everywhere cam. 4X Optical.

Digi,

There is an Eagles nest at our local lake. The nest is only viewable by boat. There are three eaglets and one parent. The babies should be ready to fly in the beginning of July.

Crazy, a 400 mm lens? With the 1.6x crop, that's 640 35mm equivalent. That's freaking close. How'd you manage to hold it steady? I thought I was insane with a 300

EDIT x3: I suck. Really, I do. Ugh. Stupid 56k that my sister is downloading something on. Ugh

It wasn't easy holding that lens steady escpecially for being in a boat. It just takes a lot of practice.

lol no..they're field mice. Still cant open their eyes. Heres my dog Candy posing for the camera, and are resident fat squirrel how dines on bird feed we put out...not for him tho.

looks like the eye of one big mofo....still..great little formation and photo - you guys seem to get clouds that are just collosal compared to our little puffs of white that we always get worried about.

I have almost gigs of pictures I took of cloud formations here in FL, I just post the ones that really stick out.

I have been taking cloud pictures for about 2 years now, and this year should be exciting now that I'm mobilizin' on my laptop.

These are taken from my family's 600 acre farm in Nebraska. Its been in the family for about 112 years now.

This last one is actually a photograph of an aerial photograph. heh

I knew you were from Florida not from reading your location on the side but from looking at that grasshopper. Florida Lubber Grasshopper, those things are f*cking HUGE, they get like 5 inches long. They look like they could kill you. I see 'em here from tiem to time but if I saw 20 on the side of my house I think I'd call the fire department

HAHA yah that sucker there was about 3 inches long....after I took the pic he jumped on me.....needless to say I checked my pants shortly there after
