Well today I went out for the first time to look for some birds. wasnt to successful in the area i was but I did get one good shot that I was really pleased with

Those pics are good but I think you kept the shutter open too long on some of the shots. Did you use a tripod, because two of the pictures look kinda blurry. You are in an awesome area to take night shots, if you keep it up I'm sure you'll get popular real quick.

I took some snapshots on the ice storm that is occurring over here.

The first snap shot is a golf ball on top of a pic of ice I found on the ground.
The second snap shot is of a big branch that fell down. I placed a golf ball on it so you can gain perspective of how big it is.
The third picture I took around 5 p.m. Currently the whole yard is litterally covered in tree branches. I will try to take more pictures tomorrow when the sun comes back out.

I just used the automatic mode to take these photos. Its still raining and it was getting dark so I wanted to take pics real quick. What settings do you usually use in this harsh environment. Yikes, more branches just fell!

The extension "jpg" needs to be capitalized in order for your links to work.

Did you use a polarizer on your camera?
