  |  Your opinion... hey im somewhat new to photoshop but ive been really getting into it lately, ive been finding some really cool stuff ive been messin around with it so i decided to give making a wallpaper a shot.... give me your honest opinion... what do you think.. its my first wallpaper...size is 1024x768 for those who care for it enough to make it their own wallpaper. red http://biohazard88.bravehost.com/original_WP.jpg blue http://biohazard88.bravehost.com/original_WP_blue.jpg |

 | It's got alot of aliasing going on. I don't really know PS so I couldn't help, but if you fixed that it would be pretty cool. I like the maroon colored one. Nice.

 | Interesting effect. What estwing said is true, it seems to be rather brokenm along the edges to me also. One other thing, I don't quite think the style/position of the text matches with the looks of the rest of the background.

| cool cool, alright ill work on that... but the text thing eh its kind of a personal preference u know. so i think ill stick with it. but thanks for ur input... was my first WP so i pretty much expected somethin to be wrong.  anyone else? |

 | Nice, especially for being new to PS. My first reaction was to lose the white borders around the blobs to make it more ethereal. But having the border almost makes it look biological, like it's a membrane or something. If you're looking for ideas to play with, one thing you might want to try is having a very faded dark texture (Difference Clouds, maybe?) in the background to give more depth, make it less "clean" looking. Reminds me of some of Purge's work from way back. I liked his electric blue best... |

Well, if it's your preference, roll with it.  I think funky had a nice idea about giving the background some depth.
