Default CAD help

Howdy folks!

I am in need of someone who can help me come up with a CAD design (preferrably a .dxf) to submit to a waterjet cutter for a side panel to finish up a case project.

All I really have is the approximate measurements of the side panel, plus the estimated max dimensions for the design, as well as the .jpg file that I would like to use as a starting point...

The side panel measures about 18 1/4" long by 16 1/2" high, which comes out to about 46.3 cm by 42cm. The total area for the design will obviously have to be less than that, so that I do not completely lose the integrity of the side panel. The pattern itself will help, as well as having a piece of plexi installed behind the uncut portion, but taking up the rest of the inside of the side panel. I'm figurig about 16" x 14 3/8" (41cm x 36.5 cm) as the max area for the cutout.

I'd really like to not give too much away, but if anyone can help me with the conversion, I would be very appreciative...

I've got AutoCAD here at work, so I should be able to do it for you.

I wished I could find my copy of AutoCAD, haven't touched the program in 3 years and I still remember all the commands.
