New website I am working on, Opinions?

Well i am building a website with a guy for Business Professionals of America contest and I wanted to get some opinions from some people, so let me know what you guys think of it so far...

I like the layout, but Im not particularly attached to the pic of the guys torso. Seems kinda random.

I agree, the layout is okay.... the guys head being cut off isn't helping things. I'm also a fan of subtlety, I know not everyone is, but I'd personally try to soften the feel a little... The harsh divisions moving from images to dead space to your content area is distracting and will remove focus from the most important part of the site....... content.

I do like your color scheme and the basic breakdown. The graphics and borders should flow a little more.... like water in a gentle breeze.... not a hurricane. No, it's no hurricane either, but feels choppy to me.

Add a darker background casue white contrasts too much with the border
