I was speaking with Bill the other day and he gave me a great idea... A video covering features of the blog section; namely that you can make some money from your blog hosted here at PC Apex. Ideally it would be funny and entertaining as well as informative. To be honest, I have very little experience in that field and almost no gear to do it with. The best I have is a 5 year old, 3.1 Megapixel Digital Camera that can take 30 second avi files.

Leave some posts here if you are interested in taking up this project and lets flesh out some ideas here in this thread to cover what would be nice to have in the video. Once created, I would post it all over the place (YouTube, MySpace, Revver, etc.). I would have no problem with you adding a link to your production site, page, blog, whatever... at the end of the video for credit.

Cool idea! Im thinking the best way to do this would be not using a camera, but a screen capturing program, which the editor could use to record the exploration of all features of the blog system, then just record some audio voice over

True... but there could be some room for live actors. It's a wide open idea. I can't help but think that MasterP could probably knock it out of the park if he had time.

Howabout enlisting some of the PCA babes to as live action actors? I think they've got considerably more appeal than most of us.

Neat idea, Seeing as ur trying to get geeks, i for one would rather see a animated thing instead of a live person. Say don't we have a few comic people on this forum.

I could be up for it. I have a pretty big following in the youtube community, a few of my vids have over 60,000 views.
