| Sempr0n? | I've got a banner that I've made for some coursework that needs to be in on Friday. The banner is designed so that when the user rolls over it, the image changes (which is the point of the banner, showing contrast between two things). Problem is, can I get it to link to the website it's advertising? No. ![]() ![]() ![]() I've changed the properties, and added links. Nothing happens. And I've looked up loads of tutorials on the web, which all say "Click Actions, Click Basic Actions, then click getURL" but I can't do this, because whatever I select, in the button or in the Scene, I just get a message saying "Current Selection Cannot Have Actions Applied To It". The only time I can apply actions is if I deselect everything in the Scene, and even then it gives me syntax errors when I type the getURL code. I've created the banner as a button symbol, with the four states, up over down and hit, filled with .gif images. But I just can't work out what to do. Can anyone help? There'll be a large +rep hit to anyone who can. Attached is the .swf file. And here is the .fla file: RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting Thanks ![]() | |

| actually, i couldn't do it either ... i tried it the "old fashion way" (no button instance... convert to graphic, track as button, create mouse events individually onPress = getURL .... ) you can also try the "onMouseEvent.Click" im out of ideas ![]() | ||
