err....ive been gone for months and i com back and the graphics forum is as dead as when i left it

i know this isnt deviantart...but damn, theres gotta be a few people who want to share some art and talk about those things...

anyone?

Well, I've been pretty lazy this whole past semester... so it's partly my fault. But I'm finally on summer, break, so my Sig shop thread should get back to normal.

btw- nice image. how'd you do it?

This isn't exactly a nice picture, but these clouds sure are in a hurry. Cause it's not always sunny in Philadelphia

Okay fine

Did this as a poster for a show for my radio station. All charcoal, only done in about five hours. Pretend the honey doesn't look so bad, it was colored in on each flyer so I did it just now in like 5 minutes.

Turns out Grizzly Bear had to cancel so in one night I had to cook up another. I'm not as proud of it, though my friends like it, but it involved bears getting shot by robots, sine Robot Ate Me was now headlining.

Also, I was kind of hoping somebody else would do the lettering for me. No luck.

Judging by this I would say there's life in the old dog yet.

@reflux: Awesome use of textures, colour (shifts) and text. Especially the fourth one is great.

@Triple8: Those photos are taking my breath away. Just the right balance between grey-scale and a dot of colour or just a little hue.
Although I'm not much of a graffiti fan, I think you're doing fine. Your shirt designs just rock

Last artistic thing I did was a poster for our drama group and that was... some time in February?

Incidentally it had to do with artistic death - but more of the drama kind...

Yep most of the new music is useless but not all of it! I wouldn't say it was dead just yet!!
Especially with bands like Status Quo still going on tour

Lot of music nowadays seems to be generic copies of each other.
But I always managed to find some good, solid rock and since I dropped art classes my faith in art at least took a few shuddering breaths again.
Can't talk about baseball, but I guess the movie-industry is about to keel over.
