Need help! JPEG to ANSI

Do any of you know if there is anything that will turn jpeg into ansi?
Already googled and tried some but the documentation for them were huge so not easy to use.

nope trying it right now

took linux off my lappy to play games guess i'll have to try out Cooperative Linux

on the look for more on windows.......

Why not test it with a live CD ......

.... anyways .... ill look for another software thats win compatible (most of the ones i knew of where DOS based)

what i basically want to do it turn my pictures into ansi

i can turn them to ascii... hum

is there an ascii to ansi?

i guess i'll look for that

maybe I have the wrong idea of what ANSI is but what I think it is like is like crappy SNES graphics

is there any software to turn a picture into crappy SNES art?

P.S. I don't have access to photoshop I do have gimp though but I am not a pro with it.

i dont know if you're talking about the backgrounds and such or just the sprites themselves ....
for whatever it is that you want go on and try Pic2SNES it supposedly converts any type of image into SNES graphics

that was not quite it but i feel i am getting closer

that thing woud make SNES files as if i was going to flash them onto the rom

maybe i am already there with using a crappy gif

but even the gif is too clean for me i want it to look almost like this
