| King of the Noobs!  |  Post your Website Thread I'm a total NoOb at website design but I have put some time and effort into creating something out of nothing. Since I am on this mission it got me thinking...who else has Personal Websites here on PR? | Etiquette & English Gentleman | This is mine - to be honest it started out as an online cv (resume), but I also slap extra bits on as boredom permits. Very little personal information here, but I'm fairly happy about how the site looks. While we're on the subject of my 1337 HTML 5killz  , this is another site that I did for some friends that run a b&b - I'll warn you now there's an entry popup (damn cheap ISPs! ). | |

Yes & no ... they're downloaded plans (linkage on my site), I print them on 160gsm card (if I'm lucky I get to blag printouts on the 20K GBP A3 colour laser at my dad's work), then cut out & assemble. So they're not kits, but on the other had I can't really take much credit for the models.  | ||||||||||||||||||||

See, we learned something new about you! I even read thru your HTML information. I think I might have to print that all out later tonight. | |

You read _all_ the HTML stuff ? That was brave ! You're already past the "beginner" stage, Taz, so I don't know how useful you'll find it all ... I notice you used Frontpage for your site. In those articles I'm using Notepad, as when I first started in HTML, it was the only way to get proper control of the elements in a page ... FP (& bog help me, MS Word) used to really mess things up ... Thanks for the compliments about the models I really struggle with doing any sort of work that requires any degree of precision, so I'm glad you don't think they look too bad. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Pro HTML Hoe  |  The only thing I used to create my site was "notepad". I did not use any WYSIWYG editors of any kind nor will I ever use them. Guess that is why I am the "Pro HTML Hoe"...LOL. Since my site is intended for people who actually know something about resolution, I made it look best for 1024x768 and better resolutions.
