Default Who Needs Vista Drivers?

Thought the people that are able to upgrade to Vista might like some drivers. Not that it does me much good because Nvidia pulled the plug on nForce2. Poor NF7-S v2.0 .

Here is a site that has quite a few and guess what its FREE downloads!

Vista Drivers @ RadarSync

Ya know, I'm in quite the quandry. I've been running XP 64-bit for about 6 months now, and I had several drivers issues with it. My college offeres us CIS students Vista Business Edition for free through MSDN, and I can't decide whether to upgrade or not. Is the driver support really still that bad? And since there aren't many programs that use the capabilities of 64-bit fully, Vista is practically a graphic intense XP.

I'm getting that impression. I think the companies need a couple of months to get thier drivers in order. I bet by mid 2007 there will be a wide range of drivers to help out. Who knows? Thanks for the +rep guys.

I got vista from my school through MSDNAA as well.

best thing to say is throw it on a spare drive and try it out. pretty much everything on my system works correctly (I would unhook your other drives I notifced it put some files on my backup drive that looked like bootloader files or something)

except anything from nvidia and my ati hdtv wonder.

ive tried out both x64 and x86

I think I might try it. One of my teachers runs it on his laptop... and it looks nice, don't get me wrong. But I look at it from a performance standpoint... if it's not going to help me, why bother with the whole install process? Through this whole 64-bit mess, the only thing I haven't been able to get working are wireless network adapters... if there are 64-bit compatible WLAN cards available, fill me in!!!
