Win2K: How do I make all my folders show detail view?

I know there is a way to tweak this but not sure how to do it. I'm tired of right clicking on all my folders.

Just click VIEW then choose DETAILS when the contextual menu pulls down.

Goto any folder and change it to detailed view, then click Tools>Folder Options>View Tab
You now see the attached image below, click "Apply To All Folders"

I cant select apply to all folders on either my WIN2k machine or my XP Home laptop. It is greyed out and wont select

Hmmm, you may need to log on as administrator or something. In my Win2K you just open up My Computer and choose Folder Options, then the View tab

tried it logged in as admin and it still dont work
I can reset folders but not apply.

Im such a freakin retard. I was going to control panel, folder options, and then trying to click apply to all folders from there. It works better if I read what you guys typed and followed instructions.

TekXoID Banned	Goto any folder and change it to detailed view, then click Tools>Folder Options>View Tab You now see the attached image below, click "Apply To All Folders" Attached Thumbnails
