okay... RyanVM's Update cabs... all i can say is ick.

I had them working... but everyone else had issues.

I found a much easier way to get all the hotfixes....

download autopatcher www.autopatcher.com

(currently thier site is down... so hit up the fourms)

http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=471109

Download the full version...

install it...

then goto:

C:\Program Files\AutoPatcher\modules\Critical
C:\Program Files\AutoPatcher\modules\NonCritical

there will be a ton of folders... in each one of the folders there will be a hotfix.exe

take all of thoese .exe files and move them to one location

to get the july updates download the ms july iso file
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

and move all the xp english hotfixes to the same folder as where you put the hotfixes from auto patcher..

then once you are setting up nlite and you make it to the hotfix screen... just point it to the hotfix files...

if you have any questions... let me know!

Ok Ive got an older slipstreamed disk thats served me well for sometime but I would like to upgrade it--ie new service packs, fixes, and add some more applications.

Is it possible to do this to an allready slipstreamed disk?

Thanks

yeah it is possible...

just put the slipstreamed cd in... and only choose the hotfix options... and load in the ones you need.. then have it recreate the iso and you are set.

I would have to say you would need to install service pack 1 and when you do your updates via Microsoft updates you should be able to get service pack 2.

How to obtain the lastest Window XP service pack link
