Default Password protecting Icons/shortcuts

Looking for a way to password protect firefox.

I dont want to setup multiple users on this system so..

I need a way to limit access to firefox, since there are a few adult themed sites bookmarked that my youngest kids shouldnt be at (adult fanfiction ,Devient art,etc...)

The easiest way would be to set up another account on the PC for the Kids. Then install firefox and block those sites. This way, there is no way they can get to your bookmarks (assuming you have a separate account that has a password) and it will keep them mostly safe.

You can use this, which I've not tried, but it looks to be the solution you are looking for.

Or, you can move your profile into another install of firefox and just hide the icon for it. I use firefox portable.
