I have Vista home premium on my C drive, I would like to install XP on my E drive can I just insert the disk and tell it to install on the E drive or is there something else I have to do?
Thanks guys

Well I have 3 hard drives allready on the pc :c :d and :e I want to install XP on the E drive so do I still need to do what it says in the link you gave me? Except I would partition the e drive instead of making a partition on the C drive.

If your D: drive is simply a storage drive with stuff on; a drive that you won't be booting anything from, id just unplug it before you attempt this to avoid any accidental c0ckups.

Nothing worse than realizing you've just formatted a drive with all your photos, music, videos etc on...
