Default Remote desktop question

using remote desktop to access my friends pc to help him with a problem. How can I or he disable the login window coming up when i log in to control his pc. I want and he also wants to see what I am doing for future reference.

thanks

Screw remote desktop, try Microsoft SharedView (Beta). Works a charm for me and is awesome for showing people things.

As far as I know, Remote desktop won't allow a user already at the computer to see what you're doing if you're remoting it. Dex's suggestion sounds pretty good... though I've never used it before. However, I have used a remote administration program called Radmin, which allows you to literally "take over" someone's computer remotely and they can see it.

I'm pretty sure he would need to create an account on his computer matching the one you are using on your end, at least thats how it worked with shared folders back in the day. Not sure though, gave up on windows for most things a long time ago. Try tightVNC, it's what I use.
