task bar question

I just came across this thought...I'm wondering, is there any way to make the task bar smaller ? I know u can make it bigger, but can you make it smaller than the default ?

You can auto hide it so that it disappears until you bring your curser to the bottom of the screen.

I like it tho
I dont like hiding it

I just wanna make it a tad thinner
I remember i had a theme for style xp that made it smaller
but i wanna do it to the default theme

Might change your resolution... that seems to crunch it down pretty good..

hrrmm the only way i can think of is to edit the msstylle( ie though StyleXP or similar program) there are some themes you can find that are pretty simllar to the original with thiner task bars...
