Vista Issue

I'm having a issue with Vista Ultimate currently, whenever I allow a program or continue a program the screen does a little flicker thingy. (Will post Vid once I get off of work) Does anyone have the same issue or know how to resolve it?

I have the current drivers on my 8800GTS and Vista Ultimate is up to date, along with everything else.

Yeah, its kicking out the aero theme. Going to the basic theme should resolve your problem, or turning off that crap (what I did) would work. Face it, you didn't buy a microsoft OS for security.

Its annoying.

I have this sweet little glitch where i click on any .exe file and it say its already running and its clearly not, gives me a window "retry of cancel" retry simply repeats the whole thing cancel brings the program up normally...

grrr 4th frickin install too...

Dex open up Task Manager and start clearing out as many process as possible. I had a similar problem and it turned out that it was open after all.

Turning off the windows crap (Defender, and User access somthing). Now it works fine that allow and cancel crap was annoying.
