| GameCube / Wii Hardware Seems as though Nintendo has lost some of their gamers to Sony's and Microsoft's edgier systems. Can the Wii help? |

| Although it makes me feel 15 to admit it, I've been going nuts waiting for Mario Galaxy all week. So after my preorder didn't work out, I went to two Toys R Us stores and found my copy (by the way, Toys R Us is the way to go if you're getting one now. They throw in a $25 gift certificate) Hot damn! I'm 24 stars in and there's hardly been a dull moment. The controls are super smooth, graphics are pretty and each level seems to have some sort of surprise. Remember how in Mario 64 you looked for 5 stars on each stage? This time it's 3 except the same number of stars which means MORE stages, AND each stage is configured totally differently so it's practically a new level. It's also surprisingly tough. You can now only get hit twice before dieing and the wacky gravity nonsense adds a lot of challenge. Anybody else got it yet? | ||

| Well, I guess that makes me "teh noob". I wasn't all that excited about it tbh, but maybe I'll pick it up, or tack it on the x-mas list. I'm just a lil burnt out on the world's favorite plumber ("When's the last time you plumbed anything?") and I haven't finished Super Paper Mario yet either >.< *lazy* | ||
