Although it makes me feel 15 to admit it, I've been going nuts waiting for Mario Galaxy all week. So after my preorder didn't work out, I went to two Toys R Us stores and found my copy (by the way, Toys R Us is the way to go if you're getting one now. They throw in a $25 gift certificate)

Hot damn! I'm 24 stars in and there's hardly been a dull moment. The controls are super smooth, graphics are pretty and each level seems to have some sort of surprise. Remember how in Mario 64 you looked for 5 stars on each stage? This time it's 3 except the same number of stars which means MORE stages, AND each stage is configured totally differently so it's practically a new level.

It's also surprisingly tough. You can now only get hit twice before dieing and the wacky gravity nonsense adds a lot of challenge.

Anybody else got it yet?

I played it at Gaystop, and I actually really enjoyed it, it was also the first time I played a Wii, but thats a different story (or is it the same one?)

But yeah, the game is great, anybody who owns a Wii HAS TO buy it, otherwise, well they're teh noob.

Well, I guess that makes me "teh noob". I wasn't all that excited about it tbh, but maybe I'll pick it up, or tack it on the x-mas list. I'm just a lil burnt out on the world's favorite plumber ("When's the last time you plumbed anything?") and I haven't finished Super Paper Mario yet either >.< *lazy*

I might buy a Wii, just to play mario, I've owned every other one, and this one looks sick (if that word can really apply to mario?!?)

I picked it up yesterday, but I was too busy with school work all afternoon to play it at all. My roommate also got it and played it a bit, it looks amazing and he is loving it. Right now I have 4 or 5 wii games to play, I need to stop being so lazy.

It's amazing, my friend got it a day early because he works at a gamestation. Was playing it this morning at his house! Really want a Wii to play it on!

Hmmm looks like ill be buying this for my Wii then... the poor thing currently only has the pleasure of playing Mario Strikers Soccer (or Football as its properly called) and Far Cry Vengeance, which is crap.

Even though reviews are still coming in, it has taken the #1 Ranked game OF ALL TIME, from Zelda: Orcania of Time.... 9 Years...

This game is great... only 14 more stars till i "beat" the game. This is THE game that should have followed SM64.

I've currently got about 12 stars with Luigi (after you get the initial 120 with Mario) and it is getting pretty freakin hard.
