I belive someone referenced this earlier in this thread.

I also saw myself NOT liking it till I got bored and got frets on fire. Never actually played the real thing, yet. I'm planning on picking up the PC version, edventually.

I used to be a very avid FoF player.

It's just not the same. GH just has that polish that a big budget game and a studio can give a game.

Props to FoF devs for making a free alternative, but it's just not the same.

BTW. You can download song packs containing all the songs imported from the GH series to FoF.

I went ahead and bought my guitar for the up and coming GH3, and because I wanted to play FoF with a guitar.

Huge improvement. The game is actually fun now

Managed to get a 3 star on TTFAF on hard. Jut barely passing.
