I guess it must be true then, if both of you are saying it (not sarcastic), then again I don't even know why I thought Free Bird was going to be harder.... Herman Li plays 200x faster than Motorhead.

I can't believe this is a popular gaming oulet. Does your charactor
expolde if you suck? Does it actually help you learn to play the guitar?
I don't know anyone with the game to actually form an option. I'm
actually just curious as to why this game is even slightly popular.

After watching this there is no way I see myself enjoying it. Just not my sort of thing. Looks like a party game where drunk players are extremely handicapped, the opposite of Singstar :biggrin:

Nope, none of the people I know own it and I'm sorry but Gamestop and EB aren't located in each and every country... But I'm also pretty sure that I wouldn't exactly enjoy myself playing this game, similar to DDR.

The concept is similar, but they are executed very differently.

I'm going to have to agree with waffles, DDR and GH are similar but very different. I enjoy GH way more than DDR. Dancing compared to rocking out? Come on.

yeah its a similar type of thing..but you don't get as tired and sweaty! haha though your fingers can start to hurt after a while. the only thing i can teach you for learning actual guitar is basically finger movement...and hand eye coordination. plus..if you know you can't play guitar and probably won't ever be able to play any of the songs..it feels cool to be able to play them on guitar hero hahaha.

Don't knock it until you try it.

And, that video is of the HARDEST song in all three Guitar Hero games, played on the hardest difficulty. However, it's a 'bonus' song and not a song in the 'campaign' mode of the game.

And, like wikidlia said...it does (though childishly) feel cool to 'rock out' to a lot of these songs

My favorite is still Weezer's "My Name Is Jonas" My favorite from the Guitar Hero 2 was "Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas.

The biggest difference between DDR and GH is that in GH, there are songs you A) Actually want to play and B) Actually can listen to

I'm not very good with button mashing unless it's one button, then I can mash pretty fast :crazy:

4x0n - I had never played it before GH2...once I did I was hooked. You'd be surprised how addictive it really is. Especially if you enjoy the music. Go find a kiosk of it (wal-marts should have it now...and if you don't have a wal-mart near you...you probably live in the middle of the desert, and you need to move

Wal-mart is only in the US and Canada if I recall correctly, and I reside in neither of those countries

And I don't choose where I live based on the closest Wal-mart :p
