V_Z, I don't know if you have a NintendoDS or not...but, Nintendo's WiFi connection is seriously lacking compared to XBOX Live and PC gaming...

Hopefully they will add A LOT to it, but being that it's free...I wouldn't expect them to. When I play Mario Kart DS or Metroid Prime Hunters on the NWC, I feel like I'm playing really smart 'bots.' It's just not the same

But, it's still nice to hear that it's free.

They're adding some features to it. The main important thing about WiiConnect24 is that it will stream updates to your system when it is not being used. I'm guessing things will be better than with the NWC, but I did hear Friend Codes will still be in use. Blech.

It would be nice if players in the game could actually COMMUNICATE, unlike 99% of current PS2 games. Even in Socom, you can only speak to teammates (which I actually think was a good decision). However, in most other games there's no communication and therefore little to no teamplay and therefore no reason to play online (which is perhaps why there isn't a soul left who plays games like Burnout 3 online).

yeah but when its all said and done, with the online play being free do you really think it even going to be that great. Sounds like its going to be sketchy and lackin a lot. Yeah i know Xbox Live cost 50 bones a year, but its also a really great system.
