Wii: Wii Pre-Orders this Friday

Following the announcement and subsequent sell-out of PS3 pre-orders, are Wii pre-orders coming later this week? One report says yes, but GameStop has made no official announcement just yet. [Update: GameStop has confirmed Friday to GameDaily BIZ.]

In my opinion, there shouldn't be a 'need' to preorder the Wii as there is for the PS3. Each EB/Gamestop store is 'supposedly' going to get 50 units each...and from what I've seen, big box stores (Walmart, target, CC, and BB) usually get 2-3 times (or more) units than specialty game shops get...so, I'd expect stores like Circuit City to get at least 100+ units to sell per store...
