  |  PS3: Just 400K PS3s for U.S Launch The U.S will receive just 400,000 PlayStation 3 units at launch, according to statements made by Ken Kutaragi.

| At this point...I'd seriously consider that Sony may not even meet that supply.... They havn't even started production of the PS3...that starts at the end of September.... That leaves them just over ONE MONTH to produce 500K PS3s to be given to North America and Japan...(400/100). Either they won't meet that number, or the 500K that do come out could potentially be faulty or at least have problems... You pack that much hitech equipment into one package, then mass produce it for 1 month, then sell it? You're bound to have some problems... Put it this way...the price of the PS3 on Ebay just tripled or quadrupled...I wouldn't be surprised to see more PS3s sell for 5K than the 360 did...especially when people in Europe won't be getting it until March...
