BBC News recently ran a news article on their website pointing to an article stating that Halo 2 would be coming to the
PC, but would require Microsoft's next operating system, Windows Vista, in order for it to be played.
The article also stated that the game would include the entire singleplayer and multiplayer portions of the famed XBOX title. The extra maps from the multiplayer add-on packs will also come standard in the
PC version as would tools for users to create their own custom content.
Good luck trying to find the article on
BBC news however, the article was pulled and replaced as quickly as it was put up. The "new" link now points to the "Gaming news in brief" section with no mention of Halo 2.
Below is a screen grab, from Joystiq.com, showing the link to the article. Many readers from Addict3d.org and Joystiq.com all acknowledge that they saw and read the articles. You can see those two respective news links

If true, Windows Vista now has even more of a selling point to make users, on the "fence" about upgrading, to now hop on the bandwagon.
