EA Downgrades Financial Expectations

Software giant Electronic Arts expects net revenue and earnings per share to be significantly lower than expected for the third and fourth quarters and fiscal year 2006; CFO Warren Jenson says, "We're still very bullish."

	The company hosted a conference call Tuesday afternoon to discuss why expectations have fell well below EA's financial guidance that was stated on November 1. Jenson pointed to a variety of factors for lackluster performance, but reiterated that the situation isn't long term.
