Alrighty, gamers... The time has come to begin staffing this new site. What people do I need and for what duties?

News & Press Release Staff: Responsible for posting news sent to us as well as other important gaming industry news and press releases. You will have occassional opportunities to do reviews as well.

Review Staff: I am looking for gamers on all platforms. Ideally there would be at least two reviewers for each platform. If you can do more than one platform that is bonus points for you. NOTE: You will need to have a pretty current PC to be able to play new games well with all graphics at a pretty high level so you can accurately judge game graphics. For console game reviewers you will need to be able to take screenshots as you play/review the games which means you will need a PC and a TV card in order to play the console games through it to get really good screenshots (I may be able to provide the TV card for you.) A very good writing ability is required as will the ability to follow review guidelines provided to you.

Forum Moderator: Responsible for policing the forums to ensure no illegal content is being displayed. Provided support to forum users.

Gallery Moderator: Approve and correctly categorize pics as they are uploaded to the gallery as well as moderate gallery comments.

If you are interested in any of these positions please send me an email to glitterkill@uberw00t.com with a sample of your writing (preferably a sample portion of a game review article) along with your gaming experience and gaming preferences.

I expect this site to do pretty well so expect to be busy pretty quick if you are on staff.

Can I go dibs on the gallery and/or news? I htink forum moderator would be a postion I oculd integrate to after a time....if its availible.

i would be very interested in reviewing games. i have 3 newer pc systems that would play these games quite well. and i also have an xbox and a playstation2

pc's are:

#1-----------a643500 with a 6600GT w/ vivo , raptor harddrives and 1 gig corsair xms pc3200 ram

#2-----------a643200 with an x800 pro and a gig of pc3200 ram

#3-----------1.8 intel(will be a 3.2 within a month) with a 9800xt and a gig of pc3200 ram


with all of the time i spend in front of my computer playing games i could easily do this

i work directly for Duckwarrior so im pretty sure i could use him for a reference. ill ask him in about an hour about it.

You know I am down for moderating and forums tasks.....But I am sure you knew that....

I'm up for gallery mod!

I will do a guide for setting up a CS:S server and some tweaks to help getting it optimized. LMK if you want me to write it. I could help out doing the photogallery or w/e else is needed.

Well, since I'm still lookin for employment.....put me down for something......

I would love to be a UW game reviewer GK focusing on PC titles, got the PC and the time to do a great job. I love firstt person shooters and Real Time Strat. games, but really I have found myself enjoying anything that requires a challenge.

I would also love to be a mod or help out in any ares I can, be that the gallery or the forums. I am a legal adult, and a mature one at that so I would'nt turn into a 16 year old pissing on members.

I am up for any help you need GK, just send me a PM.

There has been no word on this matter in quite some time.

I am sure GK just got incredibly busy guys...He usually juggles a few sites at one time...Not to mention some health concerns in his family....

Wow if we could get the peeps at PR to start posting their games here than this thing could blow up...sweet. If ya need any help with anything hit me up. I have 3 PC's, a PS2, and access to my roommates PSP, and have way more games than i probablly should.

I just found this place today...lol

If you still need another moderator, my services are available.

I can do reviews for PC and/or Xbox. I think my PCs got the guts to handle just about anything, and my Xbox is hooked up to it anyway.
