| Press Release: GameShadow/Dusk2Dawn Partnership Dusk2Dawn signs partnership deal with GameShadow
DUSK2DAWN Interactive Limited has today signed a partnership deal with GameShadow Limited, the leading provider of videogame patching and update management tools.
Kicking off with D2D's first game, Neverend – on target for its 24th February launch date, GameShadow's unique software utility will be included on the DVD for gamers to install.
"We've said all along that we are gamers here at D2D, so when a product comes along that enables players to automatically get the latest drivers, patches, updates and even complementary products, we are in complete agreement that it is an essential – and value added - tool to include on all of our future game discs," enthused Neil Cotton, Managing Director at Dusk2Dawn Interactive Limited.
GameShadow's latest version v2.0 is a quantum leap forward in patching software, giving gamers access to thousands of updates for all of their games. A subscribed service, the package provides free of charge updates for all D2D games.
Tony Treadwell, CEO for GameShadow, said: "We are delighted to welcome Dusk2Dawn on board. GameShadow is the world's leading patch and game management system, a fact that is proven though our growing subscription base and the thousands of games that we now support.
"Dusk2Dawn, alongside ATI, Ubisoft and Eidos, instantly recognised the benefits of GameShadow, both for the future upsell opportunities that the system provides and for the ease of creating and extending the playing experience for the gamer."
Neverend is due out on 24th February 2006 and will be distributed through Ideal Software. Further titles from D2D will also carry the GameShadow software as standard. The Dusk2Dawn website will also carry links to GameShadow and will host all future D2D patches and mods. |
