| Usually when we open up the server browser we go right for a particular type of game. Most often itis because we feel that is the type we play best. So when playing multiplayer, which type of game do you prefer to play? And tell why please. | ||

| I mix between team deathmatch and deathmatch. I grew up on Duke Nukem, Doom, and Wolfenstein 3D. My brother and I (when we finally were able to get TWO computers [my dad has 5 in his house now...lol, and I have two in mine...times have changed havn't they ]) loved duking it out in Quake III to see who was the best player in the family. I won most of the time (of course, duh) but he always handed me my butt in fighting games... | ||

| Yup, i had to be the odd person out: i chose "other". If you're talking strictly multiplayer FPS, then Team Deathmatch is what i look for most of the time (my chances of remaining alive longer increase drastically when on a team). If the server has a lower population, then i might play Deathmatch. If you're talking about any multiplayer game, then MMORPGs rank number one for me (as a rule, though, i prefer FPS games for PvP).. | ||

| I once attended a 12-player LAN party in which we had a CTF match (6 vs 6) with a capture limit of 5 and a time limit of null (this was Unreal Tournament by the way). That round lasted a hair under 7 hours. One round. I must say, folks - there's nothing quite like a 7-hour nonstop CTF battle with two very skilled teams. It's fairly hard to describe, but I think one word sums it up better than anything: INTENSE. Final score? 5-4. It was neck and neck the whole darn time. After that match, everyone basically collapsed for an hour or so. | ||
