| Right now just keyboard and trackball. But I gotta admit, I've been thinking about getting one of the gaming keypads for FPS's like the one Rob reviewed. But if I had the money right now, this is the way I'd go. | ||

| I use a MX518 mouse and a G15 keyboard , and i love them both (hell no, i did not pay full price for either of them ). I also have a USB gamepad (console style) floating around, but i don't have occasion to use it that much. It pretty much depends on what games i'm playing: joystick is a must for flight sims, steering wheel a must for driving games, etc.I looked long and hard for a programmable gamepad/keypad and the G15 is what i found was the best of both worlds for me (nice backlit keys, 18 programmable keys with 3 user profiles right next to my movement keys, date/time and computer performance display on the LCD, volume control, built in UBS ports = droeblek9 is a happy camper), and although the LCD doesn't have a ton of support with games yet (maybe never), i really like the ability to go from date/time to CPU/Ram usage with the press of a button without having to leave the game. It looks like Logitech is going to market a keyboard without the LCD called the G11, if it was available at the time i purchased, i might have gone with that, but either way i loves mah gear. Thrasher2: That looks like a sweet mouse! I remember when you posted the link to that deal and ever since then i've really been interested in how the 1600dpi Razer gaming mouse compares to the MX 518. | ||

I have a Nostromo N52 speedpad. I do like it alot.. in fact.. when my old Saitek 3d-joystick died.. I learned to play Mechwarrior Mercenairies on that and the mouse.. I STILL won. ![]() Zentradi :angrygame | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Sometimes. I use my Xbox controller (hooked up via PC ) in UT2k4 and find it helps a bit with the spray type weapons (Ie, flame throwers..etc) But I cant seem to get good headshots with a joystick.I would use it with GTA:SA, but for some reason it went beserk O.o //EDIT: Careful Nerdz ![]() | ||

| My dad just sent me a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Gaming Wheel with foot pedals. It is kinda neat. I tried playing NFS:MW and it seems to work "okay". I can't seem to calibrate the steering other than in Windows. The steering works, but it is extra sensitive. So.... until I figure it out, another $50 game left unplayed on the shelf (to acompany GRAW). :furious3: | ||
