Have you ever participated in a beta test for a game, or does this not interest you at all?

I beta tested MS Windows 2003 Server though... that was a trip.

Oh wait, Oh wait!!! I beta tested NovaLogic Delta Force:Extreme early last year. I hosted a server and ended buying the game. Not a bad game for $20 new. ....back in the ATN days. :afro:

Anarchy Online
Battle for Middle Earth II
Dungeons and Dragons Online
This really crappy overhead space game by Microsoft...or Orion...I can't remember around 97-98ish...
Matrix Online

I don't like it....lol, I'd much rather 'beta test' complete games or finalized hardware

I have had the chance to test many games. Mostly anything made by Atari. I haven't had anything sent to me lately though....

I beta test indie games whenever I have the time. I used to do reviews over at GamingW.net, but haven't had the time to do any lately.

Professional studio games are something that I would not want to be involved in the beta testing of, unless it's something that they know works, such as an MMORPG.
