What is the best game genre?

I checked "other" because i like RPGs and FPS pretty much equally. It definitely depends on the game itself, but i find that those are the two genre that i enjoy the most. So far, my two favorites are Neverwinter Nights (RPG...this includes both the original and expansions as well as all of the available fan created content) and HalfLife2 (FPS....i especially like HL2 DeathMatch - mind you, i'm not that great at it, but i still like it

I like first person most, and some third person shooter games. Head shots are my specialty.

For the longest time my favorites were Jane's Combat Sims games. I didn't play many of the plane or helo ones though as I didn't have a flight stick. But all of the ship and tank ones I have played and enjoyed at one time or another.
Since being turned on to Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory by $SOLID$ Necro, I am liking some FPS games a bit more now..... but only objective-based ones.

My fav are FPS games. The reason is that you can go in, have a quick game and then go back to doing something else.
Besides, it is fun to make levels for FPS games.

I play more FPS games than anything else, but to be honest, nothing beats a good ol' platform game. (Mario, Ratchet and Clank, etc.).

Seems I'm a loner with my favorite being Sports games. I loved (and still love) ESPN NFL2K5 and MLB2K5. I can (if I still had my XBOX) destroy pretty much anyone in NFL2K5. My buddy and I (I played offense, him defense) almost went to the Titanium Bowl last November/December from playing 2K5. 2 wins away from getting a chance to win 10,000....

i do however thoroughly enjoy FPS, RPG, and RTS type games

ncgchlct Apex Master Tech Apprentice	I like them all! I like almost all types of games, but FPS smashes any other.
