Hopefully the major players in the games publishing world are taking a leaf from Stardocks book, whos recent hit 'Sins Of A Solar Empire' featured no lame DRM and the like.

If you make a great game, people will be happy to part with their hard earned, as Sins has proved.

Kudos to them for admitting their protection was a waste of space.

I for one love that game, but have only played it 1 time, started a second time a few months later but didn't finish.

Since I reinstall my OS so often due to OC'ing, I was worried about using up my "3rd" validation till I am done with some future upgrades, so haven't bothered putting it back on.

It's about frigging time!!!
