We, the staff here at GameApex, would like to welcome all its members to submit reviews on gaming hardware and software. We pride this community on it's collective passion to get the most out of our hard earned dollars when shopping for new products. Your insight to a new product may very well help a fellow member in their decision making.

To post a member review, you must adhere to the following rules. Any member review posted in this section will constitute a legally binding acceptance of these rules. Any review done by a member found to be in violation of these rules will be punished up to and including being banned for the first offense at the discretion of the GameApex staff.

1. Reviews will be based upon a non-biased viewpoint. If the product truly performs above expectations, say so. If the product isn't worth the time and effort, let us know. We will not accept biased reviews for or against a product that has nothing to do with the product.

For example, if you are a big supporter of nVidia and submit a negative review for an ATi product simply because you don't like ATi to begin with, that is unacceptable and the review will be removed at the discretion of the GameApex staff.

2. You must have the product in hand. Submitting a review based upon what you've seen from other reviews on the internet is not acceptable which leads to the third rule.

3. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. If it is discovered that you have plagiarized another review of the product without giving proper due credit to the original author, the review will be immediately removed from this website and you will be punished up to and including having your account banned.

4. Submission of a review in exchange for the product is not only unacceptable, but also unethical. You have accepted compensation from a vendor on behalf of GameApex for the review when you are clearly not authorized to do so. Any member caught receiving any type of compensation in exchange for submitting a review in this forum will have the review removed and at the very least have their account reverted to a probationary status and loss of all reputation points.

5. These rules are subject to change at the discretion of the GameApex staff. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that they are in compliance with the rules at the time of their posting. No right for protection of previously submitted reviews is given should the rules be altered, deleted, or added.
