| It really doesn't matter because no matter where you put it, it's still going to have to push the water the same vertical distance (to the highest point in the system to the lowest) , regardless if it's on the top or bottom. just put it wherever it fits. Most people either try to fit it in a 3-1/2" drive cage for neatness, or sit it on the bottom (personally I don't like to waste a cage on that so I just have mine sitting on the bottom.) BTW....what kind of pump? | ||

| Doesnt matter if the case is standing up. You know...if someone installed water cooling in an AT case (or any tower case laying down on its side), wouldnt that be much easier on the pump?, increasing water flow and dissipating more heat? Never got into water cooling but its just logic. ![]() | ||

| Probably ...but a difference of about 4 or 5 inches isn't a whole lot. maybe you'll get a few more gph, but really isn't worth having a crappy looking AT case or one laying on its side...or the lost convienience. But now if they were modded to incorporate the look, your might be able to pull it off. | ||

| Direct Cool Hoe | Hey guys we are forgetting the basic rules of Hydraulics. For any head that that the pump has to over come, it is returned by gravity in the way of siphon effect on the way back down. Trust me on this one. Pick a place where you have the least resistance to the flow by way of 90 degree angles and couplings. The narrowing of the flow channel and right angle turns are the biggest eater of GPH. ![]() | |

| Listen to Zennz. He knows what he is talking about trust me. I personally have my pump in a reservoir I built myself and it is external. Therefore there are only 2 point connections inside the case therefore leaving less chances of a leak inside the computer. Also what kind of pump is it? If you wait around long enough one of the other WA WA pimps will be around to let yo know what they think. ![]() | ||

| 4oz. of the stuff treats 1+ gallon. Also, Digital-World has the exact same pump mounted inside his 3-1/2" cage. Here's a pic to give you some ideas. http://gallery.pcapex.com/showphoto....cat=500&page=1 | ||
