It sounds cool, but at 200milliliters a minute, the flow rate is pretty meager. I think that works out to like 12 liters an hour. Which is only a few gallons. But who knows if they keep on it, they may get some high flow stuff going.

It's a nice concept but with so little flowrate I doubt it will replace ordinary pumps, and I can't imagine that pulling ions of water could put up those kind of numbers without getting bulky....but hey you never know. Hell, I haven't encountered a pump yet that couldn't be silenced to an inaudible level with just a sock to stop the vibration. I don't know.....maybe there are some noisy pumps out there somewhere.

Remember back a month or so ago someone had laptop watercooling solutions out there and they pulled a mere 10gal an hour or something like that via a piezzo motor. I think it was either at The Inquirer or New Scientist.
