how do you fit a hydor L30 into a lian li 3.5'' cage?

how do you fit a hydor L30 into a lian li 3.5'' cage?
i noticed that Digital-World did it, and since i have a lian-li pc-60 case and a hydor L30 pump, i am looking for the best place to put my pump, and the 3.5'' floppy cage looks good. but i'm not sure how to do it.

Hmm, never tried that. I just went with the pc 71 fat dog so I could put 1/2 inch tube in there and still have a crapload of room. May have to notch the top of the cage. Got any pics of what you are dealing with. I just mounted my Via Aqua 1300 on the bottom. From what I understand the hydor is shaped pretty much the same.

He probably just took a dremel to the side of the cage and cut a spot for the tubing to fit. Check on the side. There should be some extra room between the cage and the case side. You might also want to PM him. I'm sure he'll be nice enough to help you out.

he cut out the back side of th cage for the pump side of the hose to come out of and mounted the pump on its side. He took off the rubber feet of the pump and it lines up perfectly with the screw holes of the drive cage.
