| Heh, well the 'chocolate' cigars went fast. Wish I had more. I bought 3 good cigars for the guys in the family and I still have mine:-) With that Maze4, I'll need to get separate ram sinks too. The FX card seems to have the cube shaped ram instead of the rectangular ones my ti4200 have (which are harder to find sinks for). There are 8 ram chips for the ultra, but what about the non-ultra? I'm guessing 4 since it's half the memory. That makes 8 sinks I'll need. Any good ram sinks out there? I've gotten the card using the stock cooler to OC to 455/960, but Star Wars Galaxies doesn't like it. I've played 2 hours of Unreal2 without incident. I figure with a good GPU water block, I'll be very stable at 455/960. The card hits 59C at peak and 45C idle, so that should drop quite a bit. The CPU temp maxes out at 43.5C at peak and 35C idle in a room that averages 26C. I really never knew how great water cooling was until I built my son a machine based on 90% of the components I had. His temps average 54C even with a OCZ Goliath and 3 other case fans. I actually had to drop his video card a bit to 250/440 because it would drop out of games. That card also has a TT gpu cooler on it. Water cooling really is worth it. PJDez | ||

| If you have a dremel I would really suggest just cutting up an old heatsink from the northbridge or stock CPU before buying any. Also if you don't have any try to find a large square heatsink and cut that up....chances are that will save you alot more money than buying these for $30 + S&H. Not worth that much IMO. http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/ram-07.html This site may help out a little...don't know what their pricecs are like though: http://www.radianheatsinks.com/Produ...dardLineup.htm | ||
