| Apex Techie II | I have read ALOT of reviews about waterblock performances, but I have never read anywhere, what the best is. Top 3, I think, are : -White water block- -Maze 4 - http://www.cooltechnica.com/Merchant...tegory_Code=WB -Innovatek rev3- http://www.highspeedpc.com/Merchant2...ry_Code=Blocks But with all the new blocks that just came out (too many to list), I now have no idea which one is the best. What do you guys think is the best ? ![]() | |

| 1. Little River White Water Cascade 2. D-tek White Water Rapids And in no particular order D-tek TC-4 Rev.2, D-tek Spiral, Maze 3 & 4, Innovatek rev. 3 & X-flow. And Zalman is making it's way into my list for good low flow performance and excellent price point. Much depends on the rest of your set-up. If you plan to use a tec, the White Water's and Innovatek are useless. If you want to go low flow, smallish radiator and super quiet the TC-4, Spiral and Mazes won't perform well. If you want ease of installation and quality construction...the Innovatek rev 3 is in a class by itself. If you want cheap...you have to eliminate the White Waters and the Innovateks. Plenty more good blocks out there. But with the exception of the Cascade all these are easy to find and all perform at the top of the charts. | ||

| If you're looking for the best reviews of waterblocks I'd go with those done by BillA over at overclockers.com. The guy really knows whats he's doing. Only problem is the blocks reviewed are already a little outdated and he includes some DIY's that can't be bought anywhere. Still a good read though. http://overclockers.com/articles373/ I asked this same question a few months ago and here's pretty much what I got out of it: White Water: best but at high cost Maze 4: good overall quality block and not too pricey. D-tek TC-4: right on par with Maze 4, possibly a little better but I think a little more pricey. You can't really go wrong with any of those. GL. AntiM, have you seen a review for the Cascade? If you have I'd love to read it. Post a link if you know of one. Thanks, I appreciate it. | ||

I'm on the waiting list for a Cascade, and have been for awhile. It will be some time before they are available to the general public. But if you do a search of the forums, I posted something about it not too long ago. The thread where Cathar does all the brainstorming is at Overclockers Australia. | |||||||||||||||||||||
