| I was looking into water cooling cuz it looks super sweet and seems to have the capabilites to back it up But my biggest fear ( and the person paying for my rig mods) is what is the probabilty of it leaking??? Obviouly water in a computer can lead to a serious problem So what i want to know is who has had this problem and what happened? | ||

| Direct Cool Hoe | He is still on his mother and fathers' tax return..our point being not how safe the technology is but rather who is footing the bill vs. who would be building and maintaining the system. Even a monkey would realize somthing was wrong with his computer if it sprung a leak...however he wouln't have the bananas to repair it or the damage that would result Oooh oooh | |

| Direct Cool Hoe | HE_P, It's that "as much" that's got me giggling...How much do you think it takes to do these machines damage? Check this out...And any wa wa Pimp worth his title will tell you: "If you use water long enough you WILL have a spill, It has happened to everybody at one time or another to some degree or another! period" and it usually happens after you think you got it down pat....Word | |

| Basically crap happens, I've never had a leak and as long as you set it up right yeah no big deal. I had to set up my system 4 times to get it right the first time. and Yeah I'll be honest I cracked a freaking cpu (sucks). So you know, it's just like anything else sh!t happens. You might spring a leak you might not. It's just as likely you'll mess something up. If you can live with that then go with it, but don't jump into this half-@ssed like a lot of people seem to be doing recently | ||

| Direct Cool Hoe | d00d how much was that Dr. bill? The point is not wether or not you can survive a leak, but could you cry enough tears to replace the things that are going to get burnt if you don't know what the hell you're doing,ie drinking coolant etc. We are here to give sound advise on a case per case basis and quite frankly at 21 posts, a major leak, and an ER bill, maybe you should rethink your position for giving water cooling advise and maybe take a little...just a thought dood! | |

| I have watercooled in several different rigs. Just about every one of them spewed some water out at one time or another. Usually, I came out OK. But I have had to replace a bit of equipment at other times. If you use your rig 24/7 you will start dripping eventually. The trick is to be proactive with maintenance. | ||
