| Ok well i have got the system on my counter running and kickin' A%*. I had one question about a good dye. I have 2 blue cathodes in my rig and would like to put like a really good RED dye oin it and was wondering where i could get it. I have heard horror stories about certain dye from certoin places gunking up your pump. Anyways if you could let me know i would appreciat it, or if you had any other suggestions on another color. Here is my cooling system and it was right under 200 for the whole thing with shipping. GOt most of it from D-TEK and the reservoir from danger den. ALL 1/2 fittings. | I would recommend getting a shroud for your heater core, D-Tek sells one of the better ones that I have seen for around $15, or you could make your own for 2-3 bucks. And the dyes that D-Tek or DangerDen sell are the good ones. I bought the UV Green dye from D-Tek and havn't had any problems with it. | ||

| Ok i have the radiator (heater core) i was planniong installing the radiator inside the case, is that ok also i was not planning on putting a shroud on it. The only thing that does is allow a fan install right? Please let me know if i need to put a fan on and whether or not it can go inside case or if it needs to go 9outside. ![]() | ||

| Totally depends on the amount of spare room in your case. Installing inside is of course possible. A shroud is a good idea. That's the next upgrade I'll be doing to my system. Just moving the fan on inch off the surface of a radiator will increase static pressure approx. 4x. In the case of D-teks pro core it also increases the surface area effected by the fan by a factor of 2. Here's a good example of how it works. http://www.nmbtc.com/pdf/forum/engineering_101.pdf Wish I had seen that before I installed. I would have done things differently. Oh well....now I get to fix it. | ||
