Don't overvoltage past 1.6v, SNDC can and will happen d00d, and you are hearing this from someone who has had it happen thrice. I have the same proc as you, PIV 2.4B, I can get to 184MHz FSB stable, 185MHz and no-boot, running 1.6v core, bah. I only get that speed because of my C1 core stepping, what stepping is yours? EDIT: Update; I have a PIV 2.4C now and I get 280MHz FSB ![]() Once again, great work d00d Last edited by TekXoID; 08-July-03 at 02:57 PM. |

| Rubber Duck-Hoe | The three year warranty will most likely be voided if you use it outside of the guidelines set in the warranty. Almost every manufacturer only covers breakdowns from normal surcumstances. This means that it will not cover failures due to overclocking. I stand with TekXoid (just this once ) in saying that you would be pushing it to up the voltage. And for what really? A few more points in 3dMark? I just dont think its worth losing a 150 dollar processor. |
