Cascade CPU Water Block.

Can someone please tell me what something like this is worth?

It's definately a Cascade CPU Water Block

It has 60 (10x6) fine jets in the perspex behind the bottom plate, directed right at the center of the plate, to aid in cooling the CPU core. Perfect for an AMD Athlon CPU.

I've heard they're quite hard to get hold of. And these guys think they are the best in the world

I have no clue how much it would be worth, but with the storm slightly beating it in performance for around $75 I can't see it being worth more then that. But this is just my guess.

It's still a great block though.

It's a part of water cooling history as being the first block of its kind. At one time, it WAS probably the best in the world. I have one and it still works great, the craftsmanship is superb. But as specialblend points out, the Cascade was a first generation design of what would eventually become the Storm block. If you can pick one up at a good price, do it. Paired with the right pump and rad, it's a great performer and requires less maintenance than a Storm block.

But you can pick up a Storm for as little as $40 now that the Apogee is out.

I actually have this block in a case with a Pump and Radiator. I'm hoping to sell the lot.
