Default WC question (easy mabey)

(how do you spell mabey??)
Anyway.....My question, their are alot of reviews and stuff out there but I need opinions from actual use or some kind of positive knowledge on performance and quality.
What is the BEST cpu wc block for socket A 462? Realizing they have an adaptor bracket avail. for screw through mobo ones. I need 1/2" lines and MUST be able to take subfreezing temps. (I'm going to insulate it of coarse)
second thing I'm lookin for is a GOOD high flow 1/2" pump. I would rather have 120v so I don't tax the psu.
And also I'm planning on precooling and post cooling controls (before and after system is running)
As I've mentioned a few times I want to make an EXTREEM wc chiller.
I ran some heat load calculations through my local refrig. supply house's computer ($400 program)
I found out a dorm fridge compressor can cool a chiller system and get temps in the 30's F.
If I wish to chill REALY cold I need a bigger compressor. Which I have, I'm trying to design a chiller system that can be constructed from an old window A/C ( they can be found relatively cheap) and have the capacity to reach sub freezing temps.
I'd like to come up with a chiller system that ANY modder can make from a window A/C .
Then write a "how to" guide.
I want the best cpu block and pump so that I can show the top end performance.
this will be a valvable "add on" to a standard wc system. Meaning... unless you wish to depend on an old A/C to cool your system only, I'm going to have a normal wc setup with a radiator that you can "switchover"
to a chiller for oc'ing and gaming and such.
I'll try to find means of easy disconnect due to the fact that most people wont want a window A/C dumping all that heat in thier room and would probably have it outside and run wc lines in to the pc.
The point is a system that gets temps comparable to a phase change system but ALOT less expensive and you won't need to play with any refrigeration stuff.
Basically "mod" an A/C into a chiller.
That most modders can undertake and have cooling performace of phase change WITHOUT spending a grand or more! I want to stay under $200.
Any opinions on the pumps and cpu blocks?
or suggestions on the overall idea is welcomed aswell.

Thanks. I was having a brain fart.
As an update: I experimented with an ice machine water pump and some 1/2" tubing.
I'm getting alot of cavitation from the pump, but I'm running F@H and online also paying music with WMP which normaly has me at 105-110F now I'm holding at 80F with the system at idle I have to startup something to keep the cpu block from sweating (35-40F) I didn't do any insulating yet

At those temps / glycol mixtures the viscosity may become a significant factor in water block performance. Would suggest a non-accelerator plate and more free-flowing design ala Apogee, MCW6002, Maze4, etc...
