Guess what. I plan on buying one and modding it. Im gonna buy it and get certified online for refrigeration then put a service valve on it and charge it with another gas to get some lower temps.

Your PC will still not respond that much faster even at the higher speeds. It will be more like 400 dollars probally as well if not more when it is all said and done. All I can say, and this is from experience, anything above water just aint worth it.

There was so many issues with my old custom build phase unit. Plus, it was LOUD! If they make this thing really quiet then maybe. Yeah your PC will not be portable without removing the block which is probally not going to be a very easy venture having delt with blocks that get as cold as this is supposed to. All in all I walked away thinking I just wasted money. Hind sight is 20/20, just don't say someone who has been there did not warn you.

In the end is 400 dollars worth geting a view higher points and some braging rights on the forum? Plus in a few months you know everyone is gona have one that cares about core clocks anyways so the playing field will once again be level. Only guys really making the waves is going to be the guys like Cpt. Planet with the LN cooling.

But what the hell, 400 dollars could be spent on better things but people just are interesting in those things

Well these would be good for servers. If they were quiet they could make a great silent server.

They are aiming to get it around the price of a watercooling kit so IMHO it might be worth it. I might pick one up. Thanks for the mention. I will be working on some new tubes soon for LN2 and what not but thats hush hush.
