Default air bubbles ??

ok i got my watercooling system done today and i did a test run and everything works. so i let it run for like a hour or 2 (just the watercooling system not the computer it self) and i seen that air bubbles were still in the tubing some just siting there others going with the water. but u have to get up close to see the bubbles moving with the water. so what im asking is, is it ok to boot up my system or should i wait. and whats a good additive to use cuz i dont know if the thermaltake coolant fights algae.

im useing
swiftech mcw6000k-a water block
swiftech mcp350 inline 12v dc pump
thermaltake coolant
and the thamaltake aquabay m1 water level and flow Indicator
m2 120mm Radiator
m3 water reservoir

The bubbles will clear eventually. I don't know what's in the Thermaltake coolant, but it's probably glycol which will slow biological growth. But you can add a very small amount of liquid algae cooler from a pet store to the mix for added protection.

Don't get in a hurry when leak testing though, let it run for a good long time carefully checking for leaks before booting up. But no, a few bubbles won't hurt performance much.

I've used Thermaltake's coolant before, and it's not anything special. It's just basically water and glycol(antifreeze), like what you'd put in your car.. Take Antim's advice and buy some anti-algae agent to add yourself, just to be safe.

Tt's coolant has a lot of glycol(antifreeze) in it, which is why it's really green. Thining it out with some distilled water may give you better cooling. (correct me if I'm wrong)

I never had any problems with algae or corrosion, but you can never to too safe.

well i should have listened to u about dont hurry on leak testing cuz today around 3:00 pm my cpu block started to leak and it driped right on my brand new ati x850 xt. but i think newegg.com is going to send me a new one. but as for water cooling im done this is the 2nd time this has happen to me. im just going back to air cooling, dont really want to cuz my games that i play run soooo good with water cooling but i im not going to go thought this again. so any ideas on a good heat sink and fan i use Socket A i too cheap to upgrade.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble...

Any coolers from Zalman and ArticCooling will do you very well, and both manufacturers make CPU and GPU coolers, amongst others. Though I don't have an ArticCooling CPU cooler, the AeroCool HT-101 works wonders on my AMD64 3000 Winnie... but I am not totally sure if Aerocool makes a SocketA version of this cooler.

And I suggest the ArticCooling ATI silencer for your video card. The silencer dropped my core gpu temps a good 10C. It's quiet and will give you a little edge in overclocking.

Good luck.

yea i was pretty pissed off with it happened but oh well. thats what i get for jumping in to water cooling when not know much about it.

i was looking that the ArticCooling silencer has a replacement cooling. read a lot of reviews for it and they all gave very good scores. but im still stuck on a cpu cooler ive cut it down to Thermalright SI-97A or
the aerocool gt-1000 or the ht-101.
