| I also posted this in my project log but I think I would get more help if i opened a thread! I want the cooling system to include my CPU and GPU. Now I am new to all of this so for the GPU I will need something easy to install! What I am looking for? A compact watercooling system that will fit in my case without being in the way! I also want performance and silence as well as stability. I will be using all my 5 1/2 slots and 3 of my hardrive slots. In front of the hard drive slots their is a fan behind that grill that is the intake of case. I have one Floppy slot open though | ||

| There is pretty much no such thing as a watercooling kit that will fit inside a case and not be in the way when you're using a mid tower. At least not a high performance one. Especially when you plan on using nearly every bay available for components. You'd need to consider a kit that at the very least mounts the radiator externally. | ||

| This is a full tower case and I have changed my mind I can give up one 5 1/4th. Alright, it seems someone else has the same case as me and watercooled! My case was made for any thermal take liquid cooling system but the problem is something is always outside! But I could add the radiator where my 120mm fan is... http://forums.pcapex.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=29582 Last edited by UnitedPakistan; 02-January-06 at 11:03 AM.. | ||

No... ![]() ...this is a full tower. What you have is a large mid tower the manufacturers started calling a full tower. I'm not sure when the designation changed, but I find it rather annoying when talking cases. Irregardless, the sample you found is not a great example of water cooling. That case has a ridiculous number of elbows, valves and T-fittings. You could do a much better job with a bit of planning and the right components. A DD D-5 pump could fit under you're hard drives. There are even smaller pumps available. Just one free 5.25 bay isn't going to open up enough room for a top mount internal radiator. You could always opt for a Swiftech external rad mount just behind your rear 120 fan. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Well I could put a reservior in the 5 1/4 bay But cant we put the radiator where my current 120 mm fan is right now? On my case's box they claim all Thermaltake kits can fit in this case and they recommend the radiator be placed where the 120mm fan is... I dont want a thermaltake kit just something that would fit there... | ||

| Depending on what you want to watercool in your system. This will point you in the direction of what watercooling system you need. If you just going to cool the cpu. The thermaltake setup can do it but, i dont think you'd be happy with the temps. To tell you the truth you'd probably be better off sticking with your zalman cooler. It's probably going to produce the same if not higher temps as air cooled. If you want decent setup your going to have to drop more than 99.00. Note: I sure would like to know the operating temps in that thermaltake setup. If you want some hardcore temps from my custom built watercooled system. That AntiM help me pulled the parts together for my setup. Thanks again AntiM. All watercooling parts came from danger den AMD 4000+ clawhammer AMD64 TDX waterblock A8N chipset block 6800GT block DD5 Pump 1/2" Barbs and tubing Black ice extreme III So here's my temp readings from speedfan... Ambient temperature 74F Idle temp 32c Full load temp 40c after 15min of BF2 If i recall antiM did the review on that thermaltake bigwater setup. Please feel free to correct me if im wrong. Personally i wouldnt expect any miracles out of that setup but that's just my TWO CENTS!!!!! Last edited by Rockin'male; 02-January-06 at 10:11 PM.. | ||

| You could always get one of these Babies Beige, but hell with a little modding you can turn it into one hell of a case! Or one of these Your case is way to packed... | ||

| Of course the front is yet to be desired.......This is pimprig right!!!!!!!! We take idea's and make it into a reality. Here's an idea for a 120mm fan hole in front of the case. How about taking a 4 1/2" pvc elbow and straight piece and cutting it in half to look like a periscope protruding from the case. Which would be bondo'd smooth to look like its a part of the case. It's just a thought......Since he mentioned in an earlier post about a periscope. | ||

| http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Ha...ws/stacker830/ Getting this case soon! Will this be able to fit a watercooling setup? I also plan to add all 9 fans 120 mm in this case with the watercooling setup just for the heck of it! LMAO | ||
