Default Just a thought ??? a cooling gel ....

Ok, i dont water cool, or phase change but i was reading some of the threads and i had a thought. I have heard of an eigine block filler used to replace water/anti freeze. I have never actually seen or used it but was just kinda curious if any of you UberCooler's ever heard of or thought of trying this in a pc cooling set up??

I might be out of my tree on this but hey , wouldnt be the first time

Ok , i called my buddy and he told me what i was thinking of was not in fact gel but a filler that basiclly turns to metal. Here's a link to what i was thinking about . http://www.hardblok.com/info.html but from reading the information, it is probably the same as using a HS/F set up. Sorry for the waste of time

There is actually some kind of gel that racers used to cool their engines. It was some sort of weird setup for MicroSprints. It is a watercooled 250CC dirt bike engine but instead of using water and antifreeze they used some kind of gel. Ill see if I can find it.
