| Apex Tech Fanatic | recently purchased a whole new addition to my current Watercooling setup. My initial setup was pump -> radiator -> CPU -> Reservoir. I now have a gpu block and a chipset block to add to this setup. Which new order would give me the best performance? I might add that the pump and radiator have to go one after the other because of their location. THanks in advance. |

| Apex Tech Fanatic | well you really wont see a big difference in temps once it stabilizes as long as you have good cooler outside of the case air blwoing through the radiators. but the one ive seen the most is pump cpu, gpu, chipset, then radiator then pump. however if you can throw in a seperate smaller pump you could use a y connector to run to the radiator more than once. regardless the cpu is dumping the most heat that must be controlled, the gpu the next then the chipset block. so ensure the cpu has the coolest water for it.

| Apex Techie II | I would go: Reservoir -> Pump -> CPU -> GPU -> Chipset -> Radiator You want to put the radiator right after the blocks because at that point the water is the hottest and you'll have the greatest temperature difference between the water and ambient air, increasing efficiency of the radiator. The CPU And GPU can be swapped depending what your goals are for overclocking. |

| Apex Tech Fanatic | Sounds good. I have a BIce Extreme 2 with 120mm screamers on it mounted externally on the back of my case: pictures below. At the moment I get 25c cpu temps while running my Intel 2.8 @ 3.5. I just bought my new AMD system and it shall be arriving next week as well as my new Dangerden stuff so I'm pretty excited . I will do as you guys suggested: cpu>gpu>chipset. |

![]() | Id been told to run the radiator after the pump, as the pump's action itself can add heat to the water Prolly doesnt make to large a difference, however - i cant imagine that the pump puts out too much energy |
