Default DFI Lanparty RDX200 Northbridge WCing Q's

Will a Maze 4 Chipset block fit my DFI Lanparty RDX200 I just ordered. The specs on the block are:

Danger Den MAZE4 Chipset Block
A chipset block that mounts on boards with Center to Center Hole distances ranging form 2.10" - 2.43"

I ordered a 3800+ X-2, dual X850's (Sapphire) and the DFI motherboard for xmas and my watercooling system obviously has to get updated so i was just looking for some help. Also wondering if changing the stock coolers to Maze 4 GPU blocks would work because the stock cooler has integrated ram cooling and of course this would eliminate that cooling. Please help. Thanks.

quick question...why instead of gettin two x850s...didnt you get one x1800xt and get another later on when you get more money ??

but to answer you question about the video water blocks, if you get some bga ram sinks and have some form of airflow over them then it shouldnt be a problem.

Dunno didn't see much of a performance increase in the reviews to merit spending more money; besides X1800's dont have a master card yet do they? THe X850 did so I bought them. Are you positive that the BGA ramsinks will do me good on this card instead of that heatspreader type thing thats integrated into the heatsink currently? BTW Any clue as to the maze 4 on the northie?

I happen to have this board up and running with a x1800xt. I don't think there's room to fit a chipset block in there. I'm with beachbum on the x850s also, this card is pretty freaking sweet. The master card has been released, tough to find though.

Alright far enough. You enjoy the board? I should get mine in a few days; it just got shipped. So i guess i'll crossout the chipset block and just opt for the CPU block and the GPU block. Do you agree about the GPU block with just getting a maze 4 + ramsinks?

That's what I had on my old x850xt (maze 4 and ramsinks) and it worked just dandy, as long as you were moving some air inside the case... As fo the board, it's got a ton of options I'm sorting through but is very nice. I didn't have any issues getting it up and running, not sure why the board was bad mouthed so much early on.

Alright X850 with maze 4 + ramsinks it is. I just bit the bullet and ordered the waterblock for the northbridge. I'm out $40 if I'm wrong but I think I can mod it to make it work. I told Dangerden to go ahead with my order, but Dano there is figuring out whether or not the northie cooling will work on that board. I realize this board is flaky but I'm gonna bite the bullet. I heard tremendous things about it when it does work.
